Christmas Parties

We’ve had two parties with relatives for Christmas. One was a Sunday lunchtime picnic at a city park with my Dad’s side of the family – the Radfords. After lunch and free play for the children on the play equipment we had games – sack races, egg and spoon race, three legged races and the gumboot throw. Lots of fun.

The second party was at a church hall with Mum’s side of the family – the Reeds. We had a lovely shared banquet and then a concert of prepared items including ballet, card tricks, singing, dance, piano playing and a poetry recital. Next Adelaide and Lillian shared about their overseas trips to Uganda (Adelaide) and South Korea (Lillian).
