Little Children’s Day

On Wednesday we had a special day for our little children. The older children had a day off normal school work to do activities with the ‘littles’. There was sandpit time, a tea party, simple board and card games, painting and printmaking. Jon was wrapped with all the attention. “Are you really going to play in the sandpit with me?” he said to his 15 year old brother. Look at his happy face at being asked to play “Archaeology”, a big boy’s card game:

We’ll have a day like this more often, I think!
