My Mum is Awesome

Last week Mum came to stay while Mike was in Australia. As I had two sick little ones who were up in the night many times, I was very tired in the day. It was Mum to the rescue! She helped the children who needed help with their school work. She is a fabulous teacher. I have learned so much by watching her interact with my children. I am very blessed to have a reading recovery teacher for a mother. She even spent time teaching Susanna sewing – the project- a rag doll. Mum, you are awesome and I thank God for you.

Wet Sponge Throw

The children and their grandmother had fun throwing wet sponges at each other yesterday. Laughter is so good for the soul, especially after the small stresses of this week. Joseph was cute when he got tea towels out of the cupboard to dry faces. What a lot of two year old initiative!
